A member of the House of Representatives for Yagba East/Yagba West/Mopamuro Federal Constituency in Kogi, Leke Abejide, has predicted that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu would win a landslide victory in the 2027 presidential election if former president Goodluck Jonathan chooses to run.
Tinubu will win 32 states - Lawmaker Abejide, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), made this assertion during an interview on the Mic On podcast on Sunday, August 11.
As reported by The Nigerian Tribune, the lawmaker predicted that Tinubu would secure over 32 states, potentially losing only in Anambra and Abia, respectively. “My prayer is that they should run like that (different political platforms), and Asiwaju will win 32 states. “He may lose maybe Anambra, Abia, he will win Ebonyi; he may win more than 32 states,” Abejide said. The lawmaker attributed Tinubu’s popularity to his administration’s efforts in improving infrastructure and security.
